My Why and the Mission Statement

When I was a kid, I was obsessed with stories of war and survival. Tales of grit and courage always hooked me. That passion evolved into determination as I grew older. I began reading as much as I could about the world’s political mess and the ticking clock counting down to World War III. Do not roll your eyes—it is coming. It is just a matter of time.

Over the years, I’ve trained in wilderness survival, researched global preparedness strategies, and tested countless survival tools.

I use this blog to go deeper into preparation, breaking down survival strategies, and giving honest reviews of survival gear. But it is more than that. I’ve got two teens—one boy, one girl. And I know that in a worst-case scenario, I might not make it. My teens need to be ready—to help each other, to protect their mom, and to survive.

Empowering teens with survival skills, confidence, and the tools to prepare their families for whatever life throws their way? That’s our mission.

About the Teen Survivor Project

The Team

This blog isn’t about flashy production —it’s about real, practical advice and lessons learned through family collaboration.

It is my little small space to collect my thoughts and do cool stuff with my teenage kids. The team? That’s myself, my kids, and occasionally my wife—though she’s usually busy rushing into our own preparations.

The cool stuff—like the logos and images—comes from the greatest wannabe graphic designers in the world: my kids. This is a family project through and through, and we hope it inspires other teens to start focusing on things that actually matter.
